Professional Biography
Areas of Interest: I investigate basic controls on the flow of carbon and nutrients through soils and apply this knowledge to develop sustainable nutrient management practices. Specific areas of interest include nutrient capture and release by cover crops, spatial and temporal controls on soil nitrogen dynamics, subsoil carbon storage and stabilization of root-derived carbon.
