Former UK Forages Extension Specialist Warren Thompson passed away September 17, 2016 at the age of 98.  He graduated from the University of Kentucky in 1941 with a B.S. degree in Agriculture and received his Master's degree in Agriculture in 1958.  Warren worked as the Hickman County Extension Agent and the UK Agronomy Department Forage Extension Specialist.  His contributions to grass pasture renovation stand as one of the important advancements in forage production and conservation.  A complete obituary is available at legacy.com.
