IPSS Ph.D. student, Katherine Rod, placed 3rd in oral competition!

IPSS Ph.D. student, Katherine Rod, placed 3rd in an oral presentation competition for Applied Soybean Research at the American Society of Agronomy, the Crop Science Society of America, and the Soil Science Society of America meeting in San Antonio, Texas! This meeting was held November 10 - 13. In all, they had 18 students in the competition, 11 M.S. and 7 Ph.D. It was mentioned by several people just how good the quality of presentations were this year. Winners of the competition are listed below:

1st – Corey Bryant, Mississippi State University

2nd – Leanna Leverich, University of Minnesota

3rd – Katherine Rod, University of Kentucky

  

M.S. Winners:

1st – Tom Siler, Michigan State University

2nd – Dakota Miller, Purdue University

3rd – Keeley Overmyer, Ohio State University
