A recent study by Purdue University and the USDA projects at least 5% job growth between 2015 and 2020 for graduates with a Bachelor’s degree or higher in the fields of food, agriculture, renewable natural resources, and the environment.  An average of 57,900 new jobs are expected annually with the strongest job markets for plant scientists, food scientists, sustainable biomaterials specialists, water resources scientists and engineers, precision agriculture specialists, and farm-animal veterinarians.
